Innovating to cultivate sustainable quality
with purpose.

Our mission
Old and New Hospitality is a Greater Boston-based, minority-owned food service company founded in 2023 by two MIT graduates with a mission:
To expand the accessibility of local and sustainably produced food products in our community, while providing jobs focused on development, growth, and connection.
We apply people-focused, iterative systems-organizing to intentionally transform conventional sourcing and service management.
We prioritize and develop relationships with small, local producers to support resilient economic development.
We account for and internalize the environmental impact in our supplier, production, and delivery process.
Our goal is to provide quality food, service, experience, and care to our customers, staff, community, and environment.

We take things seriously.
Producing good food takes knowledgeable sourcing of ingredients. Delivering good service takes investing resources in staff. Creating a good experience takes careful listening to customers.
We bring to the table over a decade of combined experience in everything from managing restaurant operations and leading customer service to researching and connecting with local farms and producers.

We do things honestly.
We know that valuing insights from experience unlocks strategic decisions that guide our mission of delivering better food to more people at a sustainable cost. Focusing on relationships builds opportunities for win-win scenarios between suppliers, customers, and the economics of small business.

We make things fun.
Cultivating and encouraging the creativity of our team goes hand in hand with building the morale to tackle challenges together, freeing us to spend the time and resources needed to make things better for everyone.
Keeping what works, and changing what doesn't.
